The structure of a yukata and a kimono are the same, but a yukata requires fewer steps and is easier than a kimono, so we recommend that first-time kimono wearers practice dressing a yukata first.

After a simple correction with a towel and putting on a yukata camisole, we will put on the yukata.
You will practice two types of half-width obi knots: a three-dimensional one and a flat one (easy to sit on a train or in a car). We have prepared a separate lesson for tying a more design-oriented or unique obi, so if you would like to try different types, please take that lesson as well♪

Key Skills You’ll Learn

You can learn tips on how to put on a yukata and how to tie an obi, all by yourself.
